Grain Protectant Formulations & Equipment

Insecto® Diatomaceous Earth (DE) Grain Protectants

Insecto® Diatomaceous Earth provides mechanical insect control by abrading the insect cuticle and causing desiccation within the grain mass. DE formulations are well suited for long-term storage, resistance management programs, and operations seeking reduced chemical residue while maintaining residual protection.

Insect Growth Regulators (IGR) for Grain & Feed

Diacon® and Diacon®-D (methoprene) prevents immature insects from developing into reproductive adults, breaking the infestation cycle before populations establish. IGRs are widely used in corn, wheat, rice, and finished animal feed where continuous protection is required during storage and distribution.

Residual & Combination Grain Protectants

Gravista® and Gravista®-D provides residual contact control and adult knockdown when higher insect pressure is present. These formulations are commonly used in grain elevators and feed mills where faster suppression and extended protection are necessary.

Grain Protectant Application Systems

Proper application is essential for effective control. FSS supports dry applicators, tank-mix systems, and chemical injection systems designed for conveyors, augers, and load-out points.
