Product Overview

Diacon® IGR Liquid Grain Protectant is a professional stored commodity insect growth regulator used to help protect stored grains, seeds, feeds, spices, and other labeled commodities from stored product insects. Powered by (S)-methoprene, Diacon® IGR disrupts insect development by preventing larvae from developing into reproducing adults.

Unlike a traditional adulticide, Diacon® IGR is designed for long-term population management by interrupting the stored product insect life cycle. It is commonly used in grain elevators, farm storage, feed mills, seed storage, food processing facilities, warehouses, silos, and other stored commodity environments.

Diacon® IGR can be applied directly to the grain stream, used as a surface treatment, or used as a fogging concentrate according to the product label. Application rates vary by commodity, storage conditions, and treatment method. Always read and follow the full product label before use.

• 4 oz per 1,000 bushels of commodity
• 1 ml treats 1,000 square feet of grain surface as a top dressing
• 3 ml treats 10,000 cubic feet of warehouse area
