Product Overview

Max-Kill Dusta-Cide® 6 is a malathion dust grain protectant used for post-harvest treatment of labeled raw agricultural commodities, including wheat, corn, oats, barley, and rye.

This dust formulation contains 6% malathion and is designed to help control listed stored product insects in grain storage programs. Target pests listed on the current product page include rice weevils, granary weevils, lesser grain borers, sawtoothed grain beetles, cadelles, flour beetles, grain beetles, Indian meal moths, Mediterranean flour moths, Angoumois grain moths, and other labeled pests.

Dusta-Cide 6 can be used during loading, as a surface treatment, or as a follow-up tool after fumigation when allowed by the product label. For farmers, grain elevator managers, seed suppliers, feed facilities, and grain storage operators, it can be used as part of a broader stored grain protection program that includes sanitation, inspection, grain condition management, monitoring, and proper application equipment.
