Diacon®-D IGR is a ready-to-use dry insect growth regulator designed for reliable stored product protection where water is limited. With its active ingredient (S)-methoprene, it disrupts insect development and prevents larvae from maturing into adults, providing long-lasting residual control. Labeled for all stored grains, feeds, spices, and seeds, Diacon®-D IGR offers versatile application options including direct grain treatment, top-dress, feed mixing, and empty-premise treatments.
Application of Diacon®-D IGR is approved virtually everywhere stored product insects are a problem — farm storage, large silos, peanut bins, seed storage and more. It goes where stored product insects go, interrupting their life cycles, providing long-term control and profit protection.
Application Rates & Usage
- 10 lbs per 1,000 bushels of commodity
- 1.5 oz per 1,000 sq ft of surface area as a premise treatment
