An Insecticide for Control of Grain Insects.

INSECTO is a diatomaceous earth (DE) insecticide designed for the control of stored grain insects. It can be applied to a wide range of commodities, including wheat, corn, barley, rice, oats, peas, rye, soybeans, peanuts, cocoa beans, and other feed or dry edible beans. Safe, effective, and non-staining, INSECTO provides long-lasting protection when used as a surface treatment or periodic top-dressing.

This product kills exposed stages of key stored grain pests such as rice weevil, granary weevil, red flour beetle, cigarette beetle, sawtoothed grain beetle, angoumois grain moth, and many others. It is also highly effective against newly-hatched larvae of species like Indian meal moths and red flour beetles.

How to Apply
Immediately after filling and leveling a grain bin, apply INSECTO as a surface treatment at a rate of 4 pounds per 1,000 sq. ft. (a 24 ft. bin requires only 2 pounds). This protective barrier prevents insects from migrating into the grain mass from above.

For control of moths such as Indian meal moth or angoumois grain moth, apply INSECTO monthly at first appearance. In cases of severe infestation, break up webbing with a rake before dusting, and reapply within two weeks.
