Product Overview
Dräger colorimetric detector tubes measure carbon dioxide (CO₂) in air or technical gas samples, as specified in the selected tube’s instructions, drawn through a Dräger tube pump. Each box contains 10 single-use glass tubes. Choose the range that covers the concentration you need to measure, and use only the stroke count stated for that tube.
Carbon dioxide can displace oxygen. Dräger states that CO₂ measurements in fumigation work should also include a separate oxygen concentration measurement. A CO₂ reading does not indicate that an atmosphere is breathable.

These are short-term spot-measurement tubes. Each reading reflects the CO₂ concentration at the sampling point at the moment the sample is drawn — they do not monitor continuously and do not record a history. Dräger tubes and Dräger tube pumps are designed to work as a coordinated system, and another manufacturer’s pump may impair correct operation. Follow the instructions supplied with the tube and the pump, and check the expiration date printed on the box before use.
Which Range Should I Choose?
Low Range — Dräger Carbon Dioxide 100/a (order no. 8101811)
100–3,000 ppm at 10 strokes. Approximate measurement time 4 minutes. The lowest range offered on this page.
Mid Range — Dräger Carbon Dioxide 0.1%/a (order no. CH23501)
This tube provides two calibrated stroke-dependent methods: 0.1–1.2 vol.% at 5 strokes and 0.5–6 vol.% at 1 stroke. Use the method matching the expected concentration.
High Range — Dräger Carbon Dioxide 5%/A (order no. CH20301)
5–60 vol.% (50,000–600,000 ppm) at 1 stroke. Approximate measurement time 120 seconds.

Use Notes
Break both tube ends, insert the tube into the pump as shown in the tube instructions, and complete the stated number of strokes. Read the result against the scale printed on the tube. A stroke count taken from a different tube or a different method will not give a valid reading. Each result applies to the location sampled and the time of sampling. Consult the instructions supplied with the selected tube for ambient operating conditions, atmospheric-pressure correction and interfering gases.
Storage & Expiry
Store the tubes within the limits printed on the package. Do not use tubes after the expiration date printed on the box or tube.
