Product Overview

Talstar® Professional Insecticide is a water-based bifenthrin concentrate used by pest management professionals for broad-spectrum control of labeled pests in residential, commercial, industrial, lawn, landscape, perimeter, and food-handling sites.

The active ingredient, bifenthrin, is a pyrethroid insecticide used for controlling labeled ants, fire ants, cockroaches, spiders, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, mites, chinch bugs, and many other listed pests. Talstar Professional is commonly used for perimeter treatments, crack-and-crevice applications, lawn and landscape pest control, and general pest management around structures.

For food processing facilities, warehouses, grain-related facilities, feed facilities, seed facilities, and commercial accounts, Talstar Professional can be a useful perimeter and structural pest management tool when applied according to the product label. It should be used as part of an Integrated Pest Management program that also includes inspection, sanitation, exclusion, monitoring, and source reduction.

 

      Talstar Professional is water based, so it’s non-irritating and contains no odorous or plant-damaging solvents. Talstar Professional leaves no unsightly residues and causes no phytotoxicity. Once dry, it is virtually impossible to tell where Talstar Professional has been sprayed.
