Product Overview

Serrico™ Cigarette Beetle Pheromone Trap Kits are designed to monitor cigarette beetles, Lasioderma serricorne, in food storage, tobacco storage, warehouses, humidors, pantries, museums, and other stored product environments. Each kit includes Serrico™ traps and dually integrated sex pheromone/food attractant lures that are designed specifically for cigarette beetle monitoring.

The Serrico™ system combines a cigarette beetle-specific trap with a dual-lure attractant system. Cigarette beetles attracted to the lure enter the trap and are captured on the glue surface, helping you detect activity, locate problem areas, and monitor whether control measures are working.

These traps are non-pesticidal monitoring tools and can be used as part of an Integrated Pest Management program for stored product insects.

What’s Included?

Kit of 10 — 10 Serrico™ Traps + 10 Lures
Includes 10 Serrico™ traps and 10 individually packaged dually integrated sex pheromone/food attractant lures for cigarette beetle monitoring.

The traps are shipped unfolded and need to be folded before use. Each trap includes a glue pad with a removable plastic cover. Place one lure in the center of the glue pad after folding the trap and removing the protective cover.

Starting or expanding a cigarette beetle monitoring program?
Choose the Kit of 10 — 10 Serrico™ Traps + 10 Lures. This kit includes both the trap bodies and lures needed for monitoring.

Need to monitor multiple locations?
Use multiple kits for larger warehouses, tobacco storage areas, food storage facilities, museums, or accounts with several suspected activity areas.

Need replacement lures or replacement traps?
If available, choose replacement lures or trap-only refills. If not listed, contact FSS for help finding the correct refill option.

Use Notes

Fold the Serrico™ trap according to the instructions on the kit box. Remove the protective plastic cover from the glue pad and place one lure in the center of the glue surface. Place traps in areas where cigarette beetles are suspected, such as storage warehouses, humidors, pantries, food storage areas, museum collections, or other stored product environments.

Monitor traps routinely and replace traps or lures as needed for your monitoring program. Avoid direct skin contact with lures when possible, and wash hands with soap and water after handling.
